PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER REAL PROPERTY TAX CREDIT – FY2026

The Public Safety Officer Property Tax Credit continues for county first responders who have “Real Property”, in Prince George’s County, Maryland.  This bill specifically targets “volunteer firefighters or emergency medical technicians” eligible under the Length of Service Award Program (LOSAP).

Prince George’s County Council enacted Council Bill CB-087-2023, which established a Public Safety Officer Property Tax Credit
